RESEARCH AND CONSULTING

KALANBIO is a Mexican civil association registered in Mérida, Yucatán, but with incidence on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea; from Tamaulipas to Quintana Roo.

Our purpose is to contribute to the preservation, mitigation and/or restoration of the ecosystem services of our seas and coasts, as well as the conservation of their biodiversity, for the benefit of ecosystems and society.

In addition, we seek to encourage and increase citizen participation, either by training as citizen scientists and/or community monitors or by facilitating environmental activism focused on education and awareness of society.

Likewise, we recognize the value of the synergies generated from strategic alliances, which is why we link with academic and government institutions, as well as with other ONG' s.
